When should I take the required courses I need to transfer? Follow
It is best to complete transferable courses in written communication, oral communication, critical thinking, and quantitative reasoning during the first year you attend community college. We recommend that you complete the remaining units in General Education by the end of your second year.
The highest degree available at a community college is usually an associate's degree, which takes full-time students about two years to complete.
For more information visit the Transfer Center or make an appointment to speak with a counselor.
