What is the relationship between the community colleges and the university? Follow
Universities offer both lower-division (freshman and sophomore) and upper-division (junior and senior) coursework. Community colleges offer lower-division courses only.
Certain community college courses that are comparable to the courses required for freshman and sophomore students at four-year universities are accepted as credits counting toward a four-year bachelor's of art or science degree. This process is called "articulation."
If you take your lower-division courses at Mission community college, you'll save money and benefit from smaller classes and individualized attention.
